DS-3 (also known as T3) is a connection to businesses that provides a scalable Internet/Data circuit with more throughput than bonded T1s can provide.

A DS-3 is a dedicated circuit delivered by a Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) via traditional local copper networks and, in some cases, over fiber. Full bandwidth capacity of a DS-3 is the same as 28 T1s, which translates into 45MB. Partial/lesser bandwidth solutions are available. Like a T1, a DS-3 can be channelized to deliver voice.
